Seymour Duncan® FLAT5™ H-S pickups
Josh's signature pickup set from Seymour Duncan® features a vintage voiced neck humbucker pickup with a mounting ring that adds to the visual aesthetic of the ‘hot-rod' nature of this guitar, paired with a bridge pickup that is constructed with a mix of different types of Alnico magnets to best match the tone that Josh has relied on for years, and is able to capture guitar sounds that are both bright and fat. This pairing of the distinctly different pickups offers a unique tonal option in the middle position.

Switching System
When the pickup selector switch is in the neck position, the neck pickup is selected.
When the switch is in the center position, both the neck and bridge pickups are selected.
When the switch is in the bridge position, the bridge pickup is selected.
Controls
With the guitar held in the playing position, there is a three-way selector switch near to the knee cutout on the lower part of the guitar.
The volume knob and tone knob are situated closer to end of the body.
