Mojotone® PW Hornet pickups
The PWM is loaded with Paul's signature Mojotone PW Hornet pickups. The "PW Hornet" humbucker is specially-designed to provide a wide variety of progressive tones, from pristine cleans to heavy leads and chunky chord voicings, without going mushy on the lows or harsh on the highs. The girth and clarity of its coil-tapped tones combined with its dynamic pick attack response make the "PW Hornet" a well-balanced and versatile high-output humbucker pickup.

Switching System
When the coil tap switch is in neck position, coil tap is on.
When the coil tap switch is in bridge position, coil tap is off. When coil tap is off and the pickup selector switch is in the neck position, the neck pickup is selected.
When the switch is in the center position, both neck and bridge pickups are selected.
When the switch is in the bridge position, the bridge pickup is selected. When coil tap is on and the pickup selector switch is in the neck position, the bridge side of the neck pickup is selected.
When the switch is in center position, the bridge side of the neck pickup and neck side of the bridge pickup are selected.
When the switch is in bridge position, neck side of the bridge pickup is selected.
Controls
With the guitar held in the playing position, there are two switches along the lower edge of the guitar.
The switch closest to the direction of the neck is a three-way pickup selector switch, the other switch, closer to the input jack is a coil tap switch.
When the coil tap switch is in neck position, the coil tap is on, and when the switch is in bridge position, the coil tap is off.
The knob right above the three-way pickup selector switch is the volume knob.
