The Resonator model is adjusted to bring out a rich resonance from the drum. Because the weight of this stick is heavy due to its larger size and Oak material, drummers can easily achieve a louder volume enough, even if you don't hit so hard. On the other hand, since the center of gravity is set to be closer to the grip end side, it is easy to handle without feeling such weight in hand. These sticks most notably demonstrate their true value in medium-slow and slow-tempo songs.
