With the CARBON8 MODAL Electronics presents an 8-voice digital synthesiser that redefines creative sound adventures. Equipped with a state-of-the-art sound engine and two oscillators with 56 digital core waveforms each, the CARBON8 opens up a wide range of unique algorithms and wavetables for sonic diversity. The 37 velocity-sensitive keys with aftertouch (Fatar) enable an expressive performance. The CARBON8 supports MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) with a matching controller to add even more nuances to the playing style.

A razor-sharp OLED display shows the current settings of the controls and their sonic effects at all times. A total of 34 different filter types are available, including modern and vintage filters, which shape the sound precisely and give it the necessary ‘analogue warmth
