An absolute brute of a guitar, the M8 stands out in so many ways. What makes this a truly different monster is that it’s the signature model of Fredrik Thordendal and Mårten Hagström of Meshuggah. The M8 was specially designed to accommodate their groundbreaking approach to the sound of metal guitar. The guitar features a massive 29.4” scale to achieve the tone that Fredrik and Mårten wished to achieve with an extended-range instrument. The guitar is equipped with a custom Lundgren Model M8 pickup, a passive design with ceramic magnets that allows the unaltered, natural ferocity of the M8 to shine through as the audience listens in awe.
