The EWP Steel String Piccolo from Ibanez combines the compact size of a ukulele with the tonal sophistication of a guitar. With steel strings and a nut width of 42 mm, every guitarist will feel right at home. The elegant Florentine cutaway provides optimal access to the upper frets, making this small instrument ideal for practicing, jamming, or relaxing on the go. The okoume neck offers high playing comfort, while the purpleheart fretboard emphasizes the warm, characterful tone. The figured ash top, back, and sides not only give the guitar an exotic look, but also a balanced, bright sound. The Ibanez under-saddle pickup accurately transmits the natural acoustic tone, supported by the AEQ-2U preamp with integrated EQ and easy-to-read digital tuner. The purpleheart bridge ensures direct, warm vibration transmission, while the practical Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins provide a secure hold and make changing strings much easier.
