The alluring contrast in finishes between our Byzance Extra Dry and Byzance Vintage cymbals colors your kit with a huge range of punch, dryness, and dynamic expression. We combined our Byzance 16” Vintage Trash Crash with the Byzance 18” Extra Dry Thin Crash into a pack to give your kit a dose of superhuman vintage sound and parched explosiveness. The 16” Byzance Vintage Trash Crash is aged by sandblasting the surfaces. The B20 bronze responds beautifully after the aging procedure, leaving the cymbal with a warm vintage sound and matte appearance. Sandblasting tones down harsh frequencies and stick attacks to give the cymbal a uniquely soft, mellow touch and transparent character without sounding weak. The result is a coupling of the relic, dry sounds with modern appeal. With a thin weight and a scorched, trashy sound, the 18" Extra Dry Thin Crash has a fiery response with a dry feel. Its parched character will easily become a highly musical and integral part of your kit. Byzance Extra Dry cymbals appear to be raw, but their design and sound are highly refined through extensive hand hammering. This is one of the most intriguing voices within the Byzance family that attracts many drummers.
