Born from a long lineage and musical heritage, the acoustic guitar is steeped in tradition. But music continues to evolve, and musicians demand inspiring new tools with which to carve out their own signature sound. In that spirit, we introduce Ibanez AE, our flagship series of acoustic-electric guitars, which offer supreme tone and playability, and represent another great chapter in the acoustic guitar tradition.

The AE160 comes with a comfort grip Nyatoh neck, a Thermo Aged Ovangkol fretboard, a Solid Sitka Spruce top and Ovangkol back & sides. Furthermore, it features an Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup, an Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp with an onboard tuner and a Thermo Aged Ovangkol scalloped bridge. Additionally, the acoustic guitar also offers the A.I.R.port soundhole and X-M Bracing.
