The Advanced Acoustic series represents a remarkable advance in the long tradition of acoustic guitars. It has been completely redesigned to deliver a richer, more brilliant sound with exceptionally high dynamics, enabling a completely new acoustic playing experience. Thanks to their innovative construction, these instruments produce a powerful, expressive sound, while their ergonomic design ensures a high level of playing comfort. The series takes the acoustic guitar to a new level and offers players an inspiring, modern sound experience. The low-oval neck made of okoume facilitates effortless chord playing, while the purpleheart fretboard not only impresses visually, but also underscores the warm, characterful tone of the instrument. The solid Sitka spruce top delivers a particularly wide frequency spectrum – from shimmering highs to tight mids to full-bodied bass. The back and sides made of Macassar ebony not only give the guitar an exotic look, but also deep, powerful bass and clear, sparkling highs. The Ibanez T-Bar Undersaddle Pickup accurately transmits this sound to any connected amplification system, supported by the AEQ-TP2 preamp with 2-band EQ and integrated, easy-to-read tuner. A Purpleheart bridge and practical Ibanez Advantage™ pins ensure optimal resonance transfer and comfortable handling. Special features include the innovative A.I.R.port, whose precisely placed sound opening allows players to monitor themselves more clearly. The newly developed Grand Dreadnought body offers more volume, stronger lows, and an overall richer sound—without compromising playing comfort. The X-M bracing construction optimizes vibration transfer, ensuring clear bass, present treble, and warm, controlled mids, while also enabling exceptionally high dynamics. The functional, tapered headstock improves tuning stability and reduces unwanted neck twist. Finally, the Advanced Access Cutaway provides excellent access to the highest frets, rounding off the modern, powerful overall concept of this series.
