The Advanced Acoustic series marks a significant step forward in the long tradition of acoustic guitars and has been completely redesigned to produce a richer, more brilliant sound with exceptionally high dynamics. Its innovative design combines powerful, nuanced sound with a high degree of playing comfort, offering players a completely new acoustic experience. With its modern approach, the series takes the classic acoustic guitar to a new level and appeals to ambitious musicians as well as experienced professionals. The low oval neck made of okoume allows for relaxed chord playing, while the purpleheart fretboard not only impresses visually, but also supports the characterful tone of the instrument. The solid Sitka spruce top offers an exceptionally wide frequency spectrum with shimmering highs, precise mids, and full-bodied bass, complemented by sapele back and sides that provide warm, full sound and bright nuances. The Ibanez T-Bar Undersaddle Pickup reliably transmits this natural sound to any amplification system, supported by the AEQ-TP2 preamp with integrated tuner and 2-band EQ. A Purpleheart bridge and comfortable Ibanez Advantage™ pins ensure optimal resonance transfer and easy handling. Special features include the innovative A.I.R.port, which directs sound waves for clearer monitoring of your own playing. The newly developed Grand Dreadnought body produces more volume, stronger lows, and a rich sound without sacrificing ergonomic comfort. The X-M bracing construction optimizes vibration transfer and ensures clear lows, brilliant highs, and warm, focused mids with high dynamics. A tapered headstock improves tuning stability through straight string action, while the Advanced Access Cutaway allows effortless access to the highest frets—an all-around well-thought-out concept for modern, inspired guitar playing.
