The Revv Dynamis D40 amp head provides guitarists with authentic, cranked vintage tones with practical modern updates. Dynamis are the amplifiers that years ago introduced Revv to Nashville’s hottest session stars, and now the amps have been redesigned from the ground up to provide the truest vintage modern amp experience available.

D40 is a two-independent channel tube amplifier that packages a greatest hits of legendary 6L6 and EL34 tones into one amp with Revv’s modern technology and design philosophy. Creamy gain and touch-sensitive cleans transport you straight into your favorite albums. Two-notes Torpedo-embedded reactive load and DynIRs allow you to play, perform and record anywhere without a cabinet. All without loads of extra switches that would get in the way of your playing.

A TRADITIONAL TUBE AMP AT HEART

For all its modern-minded bells and whistles, the Dynamis D40’s design starts with a rock-solid 2-channel foundation well-steeped in the tube amp tradition. This amplifier’s classic 2-channel operation begins with a full-bodied Clean channel voiced to deliver pristine, full-bodied sparkle and harmonically rich edge-of-breakup bite. Next, the Overdrive channel delivers creamy tube saturation in spades, effortlessly capturing American and British-inspired gain characteristics. What makes the D40 Dynamis so versatile? A supremely flexible control section, offering a combination of channel-specific tone-shaping controls (3-band EQ, Master Volume/Gain), in addition to a host of global functions (Bright switch, Boost switch, Depth, and Presence). Finally, the Dynamis D40 features a vintage-voiced digital reverb circuit to widen out your sound with a bit of lush sonic space.

INTEGRATED TWO NOTES

The Dynamis D40 continues Revv Amplification’s innovative marriage of tube amp design with Two Notes Torpedo technology, allowing you to record, practice, or even hit the stage anywhere without needing a guitar cabinet. From the stereo direct XLR outputs to the switchable internal/cabinet loading capabilities, the Dynamis D40 can handle any stage or recording situation, thanks to its embedded Two Notes Torpedo. Moreover, the Dynamis D40 harnesses the power of Two Notes’ DynIR virtual cabinet architecture to give you breathtakingly accurate cab tones when going direct or practicing through the headphone jack. Lastly, the Dynamis D40’s Bluetooth capabilities allow you to connect to the Torpedo Remote app to access additional effects, virtual power amps, and more for an almost infinite level of sonic possibilities.

MIDI, USB, BLUETOOTH, AND FOOTSWITCH

Luckily, the Dynamis D40 is packed to the brim with versatile control capabilities, including a 4-button programmable footswitch to flip through your channels and favorite functions. Furthermore, the Dynamis D40 features rear-panel MIDI thru and MIDI in ports for MIDI PC/CC control, plus Omni functionality for headache-free MIDI programming. Lastly, the Dynamis D40 also comes equipped with USB and Bluetooth functionality to edit and program your Two Notes parameters.
