The ARES series double bass strings are made of high quality selected silver alloy wire, hand-wound and finished with smooth surface on multi-filament nylon core by master string makers. These innovative strings are developed to offer a tone and feeling very similar to gut strings, with best sound projection and support. Excellent for plucking, they also work very well with a bow.
