The LTD AW-XJ7 Baritone EverTune is the latest Signature Series model for Alex Wade of deathcore band Whitechapel. Built with a resonant swamp ash body topped with a maple cap and finished in Black Open Grain Satin, this 7-string baritone delivers a menacing aesthetic with a brushed black pickguard and all-black hardware.
Tone & Playability
With a 27" baritone scale and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets on a Macassar ebony fingerboard, this guitar is built for the deepest tunings imaginable. The five-piece maple/walnut/padauk neck with Thin U contour and 400mm fingerboard radius provides fast, effortless playability even with heavy gauge strings.
Pickups & Hardware
Powered by a DiMarzio D-Activator 7 bridge humbucker with push/pull volume for coil-splitting, the AW-XJ7 delivers crushing high-gain tones with clarity. The innovative EverTune constant tension bridge (F Model) with gold saddles maintains ideal string tension and perfect intonation regardless of playing dynamics or temperature changes.
