Compared to pure nickel strings, nickel-plated steel strings are not only louder with increased treble, but the ferromagnetic property of steel results in stronger interaction with modern bass pickups. Made for a wide range of styles, Gibson Brite Wire Electric Bass Strings are factory-spec in the Gibson USA facility.
